2017 Oscars: THAT Awkward Moment Plus The Other Tragic Error Made By The Academy

Everyone loves the Oscars. We love celebrating the best films of the year, and watching our favourite celebrities walk the red carpet. But never since Ross said Rachel’s name instead of Emily’s have we witnessed a moment as awkward as this:

Another tragic error was made earlier in the show when the Academy paid tribute to Jan Patterson, an Australian costume designer and four-time Oscar nominee who passed away in October 2016, they mistakenly used a photo of the wrong person – Jan Chapman, a close friend of Patterson who has clarified that she is alive and well and still an active producer.
